In 2013, Marie-Pierre Dubeau and Sébastien Grandmont became the next generation of farmers at Le Petit Mas. Recipients of the 2017 Agricultural Succession Prize awarded by the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food, and winners of the Turn to Excellence contest of the Financière agricole du Québec in 2020, the owners establish their notoriety in the agricultural environment.
Le Petit Mas is established in Martinville on 106 acres of land, 40 of which are cultivable. Le Petit Mas also grows organic garlic on several leased lands in the MRC. The company has grown from 4 acres in organic cultivation in 2013 to 45 acres also in organic cultivation in 2022. With this expansion, the company is undeniably positioned as a leader in organic garlic cultivation in Quebec.
The company is known for its garlic flower fermented in oil, an all-purpose seasoning available in more than 800 points of sale in Quebec! The company has also developed several other garlic products including garlic flower oil, garlic powder and black garlic.
